Caritas Christi urget nos…For the love of Christ impels us, once we have come to the conviction that one died for all; therefore, all have died. He indeed died for all, so that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.”
2 Corinthians 5:14-15

Hi! I’m Father Pat Mulcahy and this is my homily blog. My blog is intended to follow my pastoral/vocational journey, and provide reflections on my spiritual life.  You can also read some of my homilies here. I could blog about news items, but there’s plenty of blogs out there for that, and, quite frankly, enough is enough. I could post about politics, but God knows there are TOO many blogs out there for that … and besides, that’s not my major interest. I could blog about how things in the Church need to change, but those kind of blogs just raise my blood pressure.  So, this blog is kind of me thinking out loud, and the results of my preparation for preaching. So if you have the distinct impression that you’ve heard some of this before, that probably means you’re one of my parishioners!
